Takapu² is a 28.6 metre (94 feet) luxury expedition-style fully crewed power yacht designed and built in 1980 for the Royal New Zealand Navy.

It was purchased by its current owners, your hosts Bill Leckie and Mandy Vernon, in 2000, and has since been completely refurbished for luxury charters.

There are three charter options

1. Summer cruising, (November thru April), Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, New Zealand.
2. Tropical winter cruising, (May thru October), the South Pacific.
3. Special events day/evening charters, (November thru April),
   Waitemata Harbour, Auckland, New Zealand.
